CP202-2CI, 2 CAN portu ve 1 adet 10/100Base-T(X) Ethernet portu içeren bir CAN sunucusudur. CAN-BUS ağının iletişim aralığını genişletmek için CAN-BUS ile Ethernet arasında ara bağlantı kurabilir.
TCP, UDP, TELNET, ARP, ICMP, HTTP, DNS ve DHCP gibi çoklu ağ protokollerini destekler. Erişim kontrolü, hızlı yapılandırma, çevrim içi yükseltme gibi tam yönetim fonksiyonlarına sahiptir. Her CAN portu, dört TCP veya UDP oturumunu destekler ve TCP sunucusu, TCP istemcisi, UDP sunucusu, UDP istemcisi, UDP Rang ve UDP Multicast gibi çalışma modlarına sahiptir. TELNET ve WEB erişim yöntemleri de mevcuttur.
Cihaz üzerindeki DEF butonu ile fabrika ayarlarına kolayca döndürülebilir. Fansız tasarım, düşük güç tüketimi, geniş çalışma sıcaklık aralığı ve EMC uygunluğu ile PLC kontrol ve yönetimi, bina otomasyonu, sağlık otomasyon sistemi, ölçüm cihazı ve çevre izleme sistemi gibi birçok uygulamada tercih edilmektedir.
