NP318T Serisi, ağ içindeki seri cihazların network ile haberleşmesini ve merkezi olarak yönetilebilmesini sağlayan seri aygıt sunucusudur. Ürün, 8 adet RS-422/485 veya 3In1 (RS-232/422/485) ve 1 adet 100M Ethernet bakır portu içerir.
RS-422/485 NP318T-8DI(RS-485) modeli seri portlar için elektromanyetik izolasyona sahiptir.
Ürün, TCP, UDP, SNMP, TELNET, ARP, ICMP, HTTP, DNS ve DHCP gibi ağ protokollerini destekler. Ayrıca Erişim Kontrolü, Hızlı Yapılandırma, Çevrimiçi Yükseltme vb. gibi eksiksiz yönetim işlevlerine sahiptir. Her seri port, 4 TCP veya UDP oturum bağlantısını destekler.
Windows platformunu temel alan yönetim yapılandırma aracı, kullanıcının cihazı yönetmesine ve yapılandırmasına rehberlik ederek basit ayarlar yoluyla seri cihazın anında ağa bağlanmasını sağlayabilir.
Donanım, fansız tasarım, düşük güç tüketimi ve geniş çalışma sıcaklık aralığı özellikleri, EMC için endüstriyel standart testlerine sahip olması nedeniyle PLC kontrol ve yönetimi, Bina Otomasyon Sistemi, Sağlık Otomasyon Sistemi, ölçüm cihazı gibi uygulamalarda yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır.
