TLC485 serisi, RS-232 ve RS-485 seri portu arasında çift yönlü veri dönüşümü gerçekleştirebilen ve harici güç kaynağına ihtiyaç duymayan seri arayüz dönüştürücü serisidir. Bu seri iki tür ürün içerir ve isteğe bağlı DB9 ve DB25 bağlantısını destekler.
TLC485 serisinin RS-232 portu doğrudan PC'ye bağlanabilir ve TXD, RTS ve DTR sinyal hattı üzerinden PC seri portundan güç alabilir. RS-485 seri port DB9M, kullanımı kolay ve kullanışlı takılabilir terminal blokları ile donatılmıştır. Noktadan noktaya iletişim, endüstriyel dağıtılmış sistem, POS yazarkasa, banka, sigorta, ulaşım ücretlendirme sistemi, PLC, gaz sayacı, vb. gibi uygulamalarda yaygın olarak kullanılır.
