SW485GI, RS-232 ve RS-422/485 seri portu arasında çift yönlü veri dönüşümü ve tekrarlayıcı özellikli endüstriyel sınıf bir tekrarlayıcı/çevirici üründür. 1 adet RS-232 ve 2 adet RS-422/485 seri port içerir. Seri portlar, cihazın hasar görmesini önleyen 1500W surge, 15KV elektrostatik koruma ve 3KV fotoelektrik izolasyon koruması ile donatılmıştır.
Donanım, fansız tasarım, düşük güç tüketimi, geniş çalışma sıcaklığı özellikleri ve EMC uyumluluğu ile elektrik sistemi, endüstriyel otomasyon kontrolü, ölçüm cihazı gibi uygulamalarda yaygın şekilde kullanılmaktadır.
